Worse of all, the ticket was fake.

Ann:
Don’t worry, that won’t happen again. Ministry of Railways will introduce new edition tickets from December 10th. And there will be a two-dimensional bar code on the ticket. So it's hard to forge the new edition ticket.

That's a good news.But that does not mean I could get the ticket from the booking office of the railway station. Maybe I have to buy a ticket from the ticket scalper again this new year.
