OK, we know, he was born in a poor family on 16th,August,1922. he had a rough time during the War of Resistance against Japan.

Until December,1962, Jiao had been dispatched to Lankao,he united people in Lankao in disaster, fought against sandstorm and saline-alkaline soil until the last minute in his life.

Unfortunately, Jiao died of cancer on 14th,May,1964, only 42 years old.
1964年5月14日，焦裕禄同志因患肝癌不幸逝世，时年42岁。

Now, people in Lankao, in order to remember him, has built a Memorial garden of Jiao Yulu.
焦裕禄同志逝世后，兰考人民为了缅怀他，专门为他建立了兰考焦裕禄纪念园.
